ENGINEERED

Quartz

Made by binding natural quartz crystals with resin. Because it is non-porous it never needs sealing, and the pattern stays consistent from slab to slab — which makes seam planning easier on large islands and long runs. The most chosen surface for busy family kitchens.

NATURAL STONE

Granite

Natural stone straight from the quarry; every slab is one of a kind. It handles heat well, though we still recommend a trivet. Because it's porous, it needs periodic sealing, and in return no two kitchens share the same pattern.

NATURAL STONE

Marble

Real veining, real upkeep. Marble is the softest and most porous of the four; acids like lemon, wine and vinegar can mark the surface. It works beautifully on vanity tops and lighter-use kitchen surfaces — on a busy island we will tell you honestly where it struggles.

NATURAL STONE

Quartzite

The marble look with granite toughness. Quartzite is quarried natural stone with quartz-rich veining, and it is harder than granite — it shrugs off the scratches and acid etching that mark marble. It still needs periodic sealing, and it costs more to cut, because the same hardness that protects your counter is hard on our blades.

EDGE PROFILES

The edge sets the style

Every profile is cut and polished in our Springfield shop. We bring samples to your measurement so you can feel each one in your hand.

Eased MODERN

A square edge with the corners just softened. Clean and quiet — lets the stone do the talking. Our most chosen profile for modern kitchens.

Bullnose CLASSIC

A full rounded edge, top to bottom. Soft to the touch and forgiving with children around — a long-time family favorite.

Half Bullnose TRANSITIONAL

Rounded on top, square underneath. Sits between classic and modern and suits almost any cabinet style.

Beveled TRANSITIONAL

A crisp 45° cut along the top edge. Catches the light and gives the counter a sharp, architectural line.

Ogee CLASSIC

An elegant S-shaped curve. Pairs naturally with raised-panel cabinetry and traditional, detailed kitchens.

Dupont CLASSIC

A small square step that falls into a curve. A more tailored take on the ogee — formal without being fussy.

Cove CLASSIC

A scooped, concave edge on top. Decorative and eye-catching, it adds a crafted detail to statement pieces.

Mitered MODERN

Two pieces joined at 45° to read as one thick slab. The look behind waterfall islands and bold contemporary kitchens.

Laminated CLASSIC

Two layers stacked for a thicker, heavier edge. Gives a substantial, high-end presence to islands and bars.
